My name is Jo Nicholson and I am working on the Master of School Leadership at Monash University, Victoria, Australia.
I used to be a sales coordinator and manager in a variety of Australian and International airlines for many years before I moved into education.
My husband and I decided we wanted a bit more harmony in our lives so we moved to Rye, Victoria in 1999. This coincided with the birth of our darling daughter, Amelia, and, following study at Melbourne and Deakin Universities, receiving my teaching degree.
On becoming a teacher, I worked mostly in schools on the Mornington Peninsula. For the past three years I have worked for
the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD) as a literacy coach.
